WHERE ARE THEY MADE?

Designed and developed in Hungary, Made in Pakistan within our own production facility by some of the highly skilled workers and team. We do not rely on third party manufacturers for making our products nor do we use aftermarket stuff on garments, hence, we keep our quality standards really high.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A CUSTOM SUIT OR GLOVES?

It takes 6-8 weeks to get your custom suit ready once the measurements are taken. We can also accommodate in case you need it quick. For that you will need to inform us in advance for meeting any timeline. In case of custom gloves, it will take 5-6 weeks to make and ship.

HOW DO I ORDER A CUSTOM SUIT OR GLOVES?

Ordering your PLUS Racing custom suit or gloves is usually done in three easy steps:

1. Designing – The first and the most important phases of your order. How do you want your suit to look like! We have made it relatively easy for you here. We have professional designers who can design it exactly the way you want your suit. You can either choose from the list of base models we offer or you can completely go with the design of your choice. All we need is your input (base design, colors, logos or graphics) and we will come up with a mock up! You can do as many changes as you want until you are satisfied with you design.

2. Submission – Once you receive and approve your mock up, you can submit the payment to get your order confirmed.

3. Measurements – Once you receive order confirmation (after submitting payment), your measurements will be taken over the video call by one of our experts. We will fix an appointment with you prior to the call and send you all important instructions needed to make yourself ready for call. It normally takes 30-45 minutes to get yourself measured. In case you are measured by a local PLUS representative or designated measurements point, video call is not needed.

CAN GRAPHICS BE PRINTED ON MY LEATHERS?

Yes, you surely can! PLUS Racing uses one of the advanced printing technologies to add graphics and sponsorship logos to the leather suits and gloves. With the help of such modern technology, graphics are digitally printed over the surface of the leather. This is usually done in two ways; either directly printed over the leather (panels) or printed over a leather patch and then stitched on the leather suit/gloves. To increase longevity of the graphics, we recommend choosing traditional cowhide leather for direct printing purpose. In case of kangaroo leather suit, we recommend using digitally printed patches on leathers since tanning process on kangaroo leather limits absorbing and holding of ink over its surface. We may use cowhide panels wherever you need direct graphics or else we will not bear any warranty in case graphics/ink peel off (in case of kangaroo leather suit).

*IMPORTANT: Graphics printed over surfaces that rub off regularly have great chances of peeling off. Those areas include lower belly, knees and butt that make contact with motorcycle seat or tank. Hence, there is no warranty cover in case graphics come off after regular usage.

IS THERE ANY WARRANTY ON GARMENTS?

PLUS Racing offers 1-2 years warranty depending on the garments. Due to the nature of the sport and the fact that every crash is unique, no manufacturer can warranty against crash damage. Hence, There is no warranty cover in case of crashed suits and gloves. See more details on Warranty Policy.

WHAT AIRBAG VESTS CAN WORK WITH MY SUIT?

PLUS Racing suits are designed to accommodate the most popular airbag systems available on the market without the need to change suit models. To make things easy for our customers, we are including a list with details of those vests that can work with our airbag ready suit models.

Helite’s new E-Vest – Approved by Helite for usage in PLUS Racing Airbag suit models. These can be pre-installed in your suit if purchased with suit or can be added later on. Purchase of vest must go through us to make it work. This electronic vest is great for usage on track and offers lots of coverage with high volumes of inflation. Quick and inexpensive solution. You can set it up really quick in paddock right after the airbag is deployed (after deflation) by simply replacing gas canister on the back. This avoids big hassle of shipping it back for servicing/repacking and significantly reduces wastage of time. This airbag vest can be deployed 5 times before you need to send it back to Helite for servicing. Measurements can be taken without this vest.

Alpinestars TechAir 10 – Simply the vest with the best coverage (Collarbone, shoulders, upper arms, front/rear/side torso, hips and upper thighs). Great product for usage on the track. Alpinestars top of the line product in terms of protection so far. Costs around $1000. Needs to be shipped back for servicing after deployment. Measurements must to be taken with the vest on.

Alpinestars TechAir 5 – Good vest that can be used on track and street. Offers advanced coverage (Collarbone, shoulders, upper arms and front/rear/side torso). Comes with back protector. Costs around $700. Needs to be shipped back for servicing after multiple deployments. Measurements can be taken without the vest.

Alpinestars TechAir Race – Another great vest for usage on track or street. Offers advanced coverage (Collarbone, shoulders, upper arms and front/rear/side torso). Comes with back protector. Costs around $1100. Needs to be shipped back for servicing after two deployments. Requires LED cable to show status. You must need to buy cable directly from Alpinestars since they do not offer it to other companies. Measurements can be taken without the vest.

Dainese Smart Vest – Another electronic vest for usage in street (only). Its a great value for money and offers good basic protection (Upper collarbone chest and back). Costs around $700. Needs to be shipped back to Dainese Stores for servicing and recharging. Measurements can be taken without vest.

IXON/KLIM Airbag Vest – An electronic vest and good economical option for usage in the street or track (track mode must be activated). Coverage is basic (Neck/collarbone and front/back ribs). Comes with CE level 2 back protector. Costs around $400. Requires subscriptions (monthly or yearly) for activation at extra costs. Track mode also requires subscription at extra costs. Measurements can be taken without vest.

*IMPORTANT: While PLUS airbag suits are compatible with multiple air vests (available on the market), at this time it is not certified by any of the aforementioned companies for use with their respective products. In addition, the wearer is responsible for procuring the air vest and any related components needed for use with the product.

DO MY LEATHERS NEED ANY CARE?

Absolutely YES! Any product made out of real leather needs care. Leather is a natural skin which can be subject to fluctuations. Exposure to sunlight, moisture/wet conditions, dirt accumulation, body salts etc are all the key factors that can effect your leathers. Whether you use cowhide leather or kangaroo leather, care is a must! Here is what can possibly happen due to those factors and how you can prevent that:

Sunlight – Sun can cause drying to occur on almost any type of leather as sunlight slowly evaporates the natural oils in the leather. When the leather gets dry, it will stiffen and begin to crack. Leather will also become discolored if you spend too much time in the sun just like it does to your skin. Use a good-quality leather conditioner on your leather suit/gloves after every weekend of riding or before placing it in closet for long time. Regular cleaning and conditioning can help prevent leather sun damage. Always check the care label on the garment.

Moisture – Moisture is usually considered enemy of the leather. When leather gets wet, the oils in the leather bind to the water molecules. As the water dries and evaporates, it draws out the oils with it. The leather’s loss of natural oils causes it to lose its supple quality and turn brittle. If left untreated, bad stuff starts to take place including the harboring of bacteria and rotting of the hide from within the pores. Dry your leathers as quickly as possible using any recommended electric/portable drying hangers following use and never store your leathers in a bag or closet while damp.

Salt – Another silent killer that quietly damages your leathers. Human body makes lots of salt and distributes it directly to your leathers every time you sweat. Leather itself contains residual salt due to usage of salt during tanning process. When the salt gradually starts to seep on the leather, it will dry up the material and cause cracks and splits. Removing the salt from the leather is vital to keeping the leather or suede supple and soft. Leaving it untreated could cause damage to the leather surface and eventually weaken up its structure. This could also result in tearing of leather panels during usage or crash. Use appropriate leather salt removal products by following the instructions carefully.

IS THERE ANY GUARANTEE ABOUT THE FIT?

Yes, our Fitment Guarantee (in case of custom suits/gloves) covers you as long as the measurements are taken over the video call (by one of our experts), our designated measurements point or local representative following our measurement guidelines. There is no coverage or guarantee about the fit in case you took your measurements on your own since we strictly make custom garments (suits/gloves) following the measurements we are given.

*IMPORTANT: If you find any trouble with fit, you must need to notify us within 30 days of delivery. Any concerns taken up about the fit after the passage of 30 days will not be covered under Fitment Guarantee.

WHAT IF MY CUSTOM SUIT DOESN’T FIT?

At first, There is nothing to worry about! We are known for our excellent customer service and we will stand behind our product and help you out in case of any such occurrence. Remember, your suit is handcrafted specifically for you using your provided measurements and design. Here’s what to expect when you get into your new custom suit:

1. Your new custom leather suit will most likely fit you quite snug when you put it on for the first time (especially if you chose Race Fit). Don’t panic. Get another person for help if needed and jiggle your way into the suit. The fit may be different than you’re used to with an off-rack suit and that’s normal! Sometimes, you can barely stand or walk in your new custom suit. Contrarily, some areas (like the lower back or buttocks) may fit looser than you expected. Again, that’s all by design as this suit is made for an ergonomic fit in your riding position.

2. Get on your bike once you zip up, move or start riding your motorcycle. In a tuck position everything should start to fall into place. Keep in mind that the first time you swing your leg over the bike things might be little restrictive. Give it a full day or full weekend of riding. It may take a few days or in some cases 3-4 weeks of riding to make it feel you like your second skin.

3. Try some more tips as they can make a difference. Try wearing the suit during workouts or even while stretching in a crouch in a steamy bathroom. Try ball inflating trick (workable in case of tight arms or knees). Or use any appropriate leather care agent as that also helps breaking-in. Please, know leather is a natural skin that tends to get loose the more you use. Don’t give up until your gear is comfortable enough to ride.

If nothing works and things do not get better (after trying everything above) during the breaking-in period then there is a chance your measurements were inaccurate or there was an error during construction. In the world of custom-fitting garments, there are mistakes from time-to-time. Here is what you can do in case the fitment issue does not go away:

1. Write in detail about your problem to us (sales@plus-racing.eu) or to our representative you are dealing with
2. Send us front, side and back pictures of you while wearing the suit (both on and off the bike). Or do the same in a video
3. We will determine course of action once we receive everything from you.

Once you provide us everything with details, we will get back to you with best possible solutions to resolve your problem.

*IMPORTANT: Custom products (made as per customers demand, size and colors) are strictly non-refundable.
